Drink, food and a bookstore specialized in Comics and Illustrations, all in one place in the heart of Lisbon. A space where conviviality, a must for a café, joins the ninth art, allowing the dissemination of graphic works, many of them independent, among a varied audience. We love to shorten the usual distance people always had from the world of comics. We always believed in the world of comics, a

nd time and love for it has proved us right. But we still want to give this world the highlight it deserves, here in Lisbon, a city where there has always been a lack of an exclusively dedicated place, not just for sale, but also for consultation, dissemination, sharing. Grab an italian comic, or a portuguese graphic novel, take a world tour within the time of a drink, or buy one and take the world with you: we have shelves full of carefully selected graphic works, books and magazines. Of course, we really hope to start again soon with meetings with comic and book writers, movies and documentaries screenings, and some other things we are thinkinb about. But due to Covid-19 regulations, we still have to keep a 50% seated allowance, so we can't wait for everyone to be safe and secure and to let every one of you to enjoy our events. We are Max and Elisa, and our bar is called tascaMastai in lovely memory of the illustrator, painter and dearest friend, Roberto Mastai. We accept cash, most of credits and debit cards, and Bitcoin.
