Te huur: vrijstaand vakantiehuis in het binnenland van Portugal. Het huis is een opgeknapt boerderijtje en heeft een woonkamer met open keuken, een badkamer met ligbad en douche, wastafel & wc en twee slaapkamers (beiden met een 2-persoons bed). Een van de slaapkamers is in het huis en de andere is naast het huis in een voormalig schuurtje. Het huis ligt op 7000 m2 glooiend land met 100 olijfbomen, een wijngaard en fruitbomen (o.a. Het huis heeft een oude wijnkelder die gebruikt wordt als opslag. Rondom het huis staan nog een aantal bijgebouwen; een werkplaats, een bijkeuken en een grote schuur. Er is een boomhut en een zwembak (1,80 bij 2,2 meter) ter afkoeling tijdens de warme zomerdagen. De locatie is heel rustig, stil en privé, maar niet geïsoleerd. Het ligt 1 km buiten het dorpje Junceira, waar een supermarktje en een tankstation/bar/restaurantje is. De grotere stad Tomar, met een van de grootste monumenten van Portugal, het Convento do Christo, ligt op 8 km afstand. Hier zijn de meeste voorzieningen zoals een bioscoop, restaurants, cafés, grote supermarkten en een wekelijkse markt. Op 4 km ligt het grote stuwmeer Ferreira do Zezere, waarin je heerlijk kunt zwemmen. De heuvelachtige omgeving met een afwisselend landschap van wijnvelden en bossen is fantastisch om te wandelen. De zee ligt op een dik uur rijden en de hoogste berg van Portugal ligt in de Serra da Estrela en is 2 uur rijden. Lissabon ligt op 1,25 uur rijden van Junceira. Huur 490 euro per week inclusief energiekosten en exclusief schoonmaakkosten (35 euro). Beddengoed en handdoeken zijn voldoende aanwezig. Er is geen kabel-tv maar wel een flatscreen met dvd speler en een collectie goede (cult)films. Er is onbeperkt internet (wifi). Het huis heeft een houtkachel voor koude avonden. Huisdieren zijn welkom. Het is ook mogelijk om het huis voor een langere periode te huren (om in alle rust te werken of juist even de alledaagse beslommeringen van het werk te vergeten). Cruz Pequena, a quiet place in Portugal
For rent: detached holiday house in Central Portugal. The house is a renovated little farm, with a living room with an open kitchen, a bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet and a bedroom (with a double bed). A second bedroom (also with a double bed) is situated in a small, separate and nicely renovated barn on the other side of the terrace. The property is set on a sloping plot measuring 7000 m2, with app 100 olive trees, a vineyard and fruit trees (orange, lemon, tangerine, apple, pear, quince, peach). The house has an old wine cellar, which is used as a storage space. There are some other buildings around the house: a workshop, a scullery and a big barn. There’s a small swimming pool (1,80 at 2,2 meter) to cool down during the hot summer days. The place is very quiet and private and yet not isolated. It’s situated 1 km outside of the small hamlet of Junceira, where you will find a mini-market and a gas station/bar/restaurant. The bigger historic town of Tomar, home to the famous monument Convento do Cristo, is only a 15 minute drive away. There you’ll find a lot of facilities including a cinema, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and a weekly market. At 4 km distance you’ll find the big lake Castelo do Bode, where you can swim delicious. The beautiful area with its varied scenery of hills, vineyards and woods is fantastic for walking. The ocean is an hour's drive away and the highest mountain in Portugal (located in the Serra da Estrela) is 2 hours away. Lisbon, with the nearest airport, is a 1,5 hour drive from Junceira. The rent is 490 euros per week incl. energy costs and excl. cleaning (35 euros). Bed linen and towels are provided. There is no kabel-TV but there’s a flat screen television with DVD player and a collection of good movies. There's internet (wifi). The house has a wood burning stove for chilly evenings. Pets are welcome. It is also possible to rent the house for a longer period (to work in peace or to get away from the everyday worries of work). In this case another rent is applied.
