cette année, nous avons repensé notre carte est nous mettons en avant des plats typiques Portugais.

Dorénavant le restaurant sera fermé le LUNDI

Ce sera un immense plaisir de vous accueillir pour cette nouvelle saison 2025.

Este ano, reformulámos a nossa ementa e damos destaque aos pratos típicos portugueses.

A partir de agora o restaurante estará encerrado às SEGUNDAS-FEIRAS

Será um enorme prazer recebê-los para esta nova temporada de 2025.

We are pleased to announce the restaurant's opening tomorrow, April 18, 2025.
This year, we have redesigned our menu and are highlighting typical Portuguese dishes.

From now on, the restaurant will be closed on Mondays.

NICKNAMED CELESTE DOS CRAVOS, WITH AN INNOCENT AND BEAUTIFUL GESTURE SHE ENDED UP GIVING THE NAME TO THE REVOLUTION THAT ENDED THE DICTATORSHIP IN PORTUGAL - 25th APRIL 1974
A nice “story” to close the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April.
Celeste Caeiro, a waitress at Franjinhas restaurant, will always be remembered as the person responsible for making this day go down in history as the day of the “Carnation Revolution”.
For Celeste Caeiro, April 25, 1974 was just another working Thursday. At the time, she was 40 years old and was a waitress at the Franjinhas restaurant, on Braancamp Street, next to Marquês de Pombal.
That day it was the anniversary of the opening of the Franjinhas restaurant which had an innovative self-service service, the first in Lisbon. A party where flowers could not be missing. When she arrived at work, Celeste found the door closed and was told by her boss that it would not open it because a revolution was underway. But don't waste the flowers.
She took the carnations with her to Rossio, where the military tanks were.
A soldier asked Celeste for a cigarette, but Celeste was not a smoker and all she had to give him was one of the carnations she had brought from the restaurant.
The soldier accepted the flower and placed it on the barrel of the shotgun and soon his companions followed in his footsteps, leading Celeste to distribute all the carnations she had in her arms.
Hours later, several florists in Rossio made an effort to ensure that no one was left without carnations, helping to immortalize them as a symbol of freedom, of possibilities.

Hello all! Staffie's will have new operating hours from now until the end of April. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am until 10pm.We look forward to seeing you soon!

We are looking to add an experienced waitress to our team. The ideal candidate will speak English and Portuguese (French language A+). Must have your own transportation and live near the Albufeira Marina. Long term work contract available for the right candidate. Must be able to work legally in Portugal.
