Another one of those days when you just climb inside your fridge to get a decent nights sleep.
Friday nights quiz didnt happen , as Maz and Antonio celebrated their wedding anniversary . That means , we did not come last again. My team will be there again on Friday to take on any competition. I know that other teams are worried because we climbed up to SECOND last place.
Sunday Roast Dinners are flying out of the kitchen. Remember to try and book. That way you are sure to get one of Maz-s famous dinners..
I was lucky enough to have Two lovely Pork Pies brought over for me from " Malcolm Michaels " Quality Butchers in Leeds. They went down a treat. Thanks Tommy.
Dont forget the games tonight. 6.00 pm and 9.00 pm. Big screens inside and out. Food till 8.00 pm

Just a reminder that there will not be a quiz tonight. The bar is closed for Maz and Antonio to celebrate their wedding anniversary . They are at the islands in Olhao paddling in the warm sea.
Re open Sunday 12.30 for Sunday Roast Dinner.

A Cloudy start to the day, but these are promises of a very hot day.
My quiz team has a new member, bringing us up to Four. Roy made a great start by moving us up the ladder to SECOND from the bottom.. In the past. The only way has been UP. Now we can go down as well. The A team got together again and won. Grahams team were second, or third. Not quite sure now. Its been a long time since the quiz.
Sunday Roast Dinners are on today. 12.30 till 6.00 pm.
Portugal play D.R. Congo on Wednesday at 6.00 pm and England V Croatia at 9.00 pm Couple of big screens outside and a few inside. Note that the kitchen closes at 6.00 pm so if you want food. Come earlier.
On a relaxing note, I have just picked a bowl of my own Strawberries. I will be eating my own green beans today as well. Loads of tomatoes and chillies to come.

It has been scorching this past week. But that is what we come here for. The weather. I have been picking strawberrys on my balcony today. Wont be long before the toms, Peppers, Beans, Chillies, Garlic, Jalapino. are ready. Some runner beans ready for picking. and washing dries in a few hours.
Dont forget the quiz tonight at 8.00pm. Can you beat my team. Every team did last week. We are not embarrassed, We have no shame.

People have been booking their Christmas Day Dinner.20+ already booked. Same format as last year. People enjoyed it so much, that Maz has decided to do it again.
I will be going with Eric and Cheryl for a garden party with the R.B.L. on Monday. Always a good day.

An absolutely scorching morning and looks and feels like summer is here at last.
Went to the quiz last night and the first three places were taken by tourist teams. Even with Lee on our team, we still came last. Anybody who thinks they will be embarrassed playing. Can take consolation with my teams situation. We dont get embarrassed anymore. If you are really thick. YOU are the people my team want.8.00 pm every Friday.

I was out for dinner with Bethany on Thursday, and out with Maz and Antonio for lunch today. All you can eat Fish. Different kinds. I dont bother with the veg and salad. Just fill up on Fish. and a Large Red of course.
