With a name hinting at our Cuban roots, Asere combines the best of Puerto Rican and Cuban cuisine in a sexy but casual environment. Sample traditional dishes such as rice and beans, “al estilo Cubano,” a fresh catch from local fisherman, delicious mofongo or some of the best serenata de bacalao in town. If you have a craving for good, local food, this is the place where you will want to fill your

belly. Head upstairs to our version of a speakeasy from old Habana, the sassy La Carniceria, which literally translates to “the butcher shop,” because at one point it was the actual site of one. Here you can enjoy fabulous, crafted cocktails made with local ingredients such as our traditional or flavored Mojito or our Reservista made with Bacardi “8 Años.” La Carniceria is a great spot for date night, or to hang with the hip crowd. Our balcony offers a view of the crowd at La Placita without being in the midst of all the hustle and bustle in a more relaxed vibe. Eat and drink like a local in style.
