Sales tax biometric
NADRA has confirmed that online biometric verification through the PakID mobile app has been developed and is expected to become operational in the first week of September 2026. This will allow individual taxpayers, sole proprietors, and overseas Pakistanis to complete biometric verification remotely without visiting a physical centre. NADRA is also working with FBR to recognize PakID biometric verification as an alternative to the existing e-Sahulat facility.

ملاقات کے دوران تاجر سکیم، IRIS سسٹم کے مسائل، سسٹم میں موجود عملی مشکلات، وکلاء اور ٹیکس گزاروں کو درپیش مسائل اور ان کے ممکنہ حل پر تفصیلی اور سیر حاصل گفتگو ہوئی۔

اس موقع پر دونوں جانب سے ٹیکس پروفیشنلز اور ٹیکس گزاروں کو درپیش مسائل کے حل کے لیے مکمل تعاون اور باہمی رابطے کی یقین دہانی کرائی گئی۔

ملاقات میں مقامی سطح پر Registration Office کے قیام کی اشد ضرورت کو بھی اجاگر کیا گیا، تاکہ ٹیکس گزاروں اور ٹیکس پروفیشنلز کو اپنے معاملات کے لیے دور دراز دفاتر کا رخ نہ کرنا پڑے اور مقامی سطح پر سہولیات میسر آ سکیں۔

یہ ملاقات ٹیکس نظام میں بہتری، شفافیت اور ٹیکس گزاروں کو بہتر سہولیات کی فراہمی کے حوالے سے ایک مثبت پیش رفت ہے۔

Taxpayers’ Issues Discussed with Honorable Governor at Governor House, Peshawar

Today, I had the opportunity, along with General Secretary Ali Khan, to present and discuss the key problems and challenges faced by taxpayers with the Honorable Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, at Governor House, Peshawar.

We discussed practical issues relating to taxation, compliance, and the difficulties faced by taxpayers and tax professionals, with the aim of improving the tax system and facilitating taxpayers.

I am grateful to the Honorable Governor for giving us the opportunity to raise these important concerns and for his valuable time and attention.
