*PRESS NOTE*

The High Court Bar Association Abbottabad today organized a farewell ceremony in honour of the outgoing Honourable Mr. Justice Sadiq Ali, Judge, Peshawar High Court, on the occasion of his transfer from the Abbottabad Bench.

The ceremony was held at the Central Bar Room, High Court Abbottabad, and was attended by a large number of senior advocates, members of the Bar, and office-bearers of the Association. The event was conducted in a cordial and respectful atmosphere, reflecting the strong tradition of mutual respect between the Bench and the Bar.

Speakers paid rich tribute to the Hon’ble Judge’s judicial acumen, integrity, patience, and courteous conduct, and appreciated his valuable services during his tenure at the Abbottabad Bench. His positive role in strengthening Bench–Bar relations was particularly acknowledged.

In his remarks, the Hon’ble Judge expressed gratitude to the legal fraternity for their cooperation and goodwill, and shared warm memories of his association with the Abbottabad Bench.

The ceremony concluded with Hi-Tea, followed by group photographs.

As announced earlier, a joint reference of our beloved departed colleagues *Malik Ghayoor Khan Advocate, Syed Mehboob Shah Advocate, and Rashid Ul Haq Qazi, ASC* will be held on *Monday, 22nd September 2025, at *11:00 AM* in the Central Bar Room, HCBA Abbottabad.

➡️ There will be NO COURT WORK at the Peshawar High Court Abbottabad Bench.

All respected members are requested to participate in the Dua and in recalling the cherished memories of our late colleagues.

With profound grief, it is announced that *Malik Ghayur Khan Advocate* has passed away.
He was the cousin brother of Malik Waheed Akhtar Advocate and Malik Saeed Akhtar Advocate.

Janaza will be offered today at 10:00 PM at Harhi Wali Choki, Murree Road, Abbottabad.

May Allah grant the departed soul maghfirah and patience to the bereaved family. Aameen.
