Toto Aklan, his nickname in the pool circuit, captured this year's Ibalong 9 ball tournament against Baseth Mocaibat 13-12. Congratulations champ! Well deserved victory! Unknown to pool fans couple of days ago Toto's newborn baby passed away while he was playing in the knockout stages. A lot players comforted him during this difficult time and was contemplating of not finishing the tournament to be with his family. After giving it much thought and praying he decided to continue and finish the tournament. He played like there is no tomorrow and showed a lot of heart. And with his angel by his side Toto Aklan bagged the top prize and dedicated his victory to his family. We are proud of you Toto! You showed that we Filipinos are truly the most resilient and courageous people on the planet. Saludo kami sayo Toto!!! Mabuhay ka champ!!! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
