We are progressing. The interior painting is almost done and most of the lights are working. Now we are renovating the chairs and tables, painting the exterior, getting rid of the black paints on stones and preparing the kitchen. There were many challenges but we are optimistic that we can open at the end of January. We can't wait to welcome you again at our new place.

Happy New Year!!
We are still very busy renovating our new place but found some time to try a new plate - Seafood Pasta.
This was a signature dish of the former Cafe 1927.
A blogger wrote the following about it:”A must try is their seafood pasta. The resto’s version is the best you can taste in the city.”

Scraping the black colour off a beautifully crafted brick wall ... how could someone ever have the idea to hide this with black?

Our new place used to be a very nice Restaurant serving Steaks, Pasta and Ribs but then came a KTV and everything got black - they even painted the bricks outside black. Thus we are very busy at the moment to transform this back to a nice compelling place. There is a lot to do ...

We are moving to Gomez Street just besides the Landbank at the Plaza starting December 22.

Our new Swiss Tavern Overload with Ham, Bacon, Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Bell Pepper, Olives, Mozzarella and Pizza Sauce. It is heavy, rich and yummy.
