It is with sincere gratitude and a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of Cattails Bistro.

Serving you in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan has been one of the greatest honors of our journey. What began as a simple dream became something truly meaningful because of your continued support, trust, and presence. Every meal shared, every conversation held, and every moment spent in our space will forever remain close to our hearts.

We are deeply thankful to everyone who chose to dine with us, supported us through kind words and recommendations, and stood by us throughout the years. You were never just customers, you were the reason we opened our doors each day.

As this chapter comes to an end, we leave with nothing but appreciation, gratitude, and unforgettable memories. Thank you for allowing Cattails Bistro to be part of your lives, even for a short while.

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who want to grow with us. Open positions include Cook/Assistant Cook and Part-time Barista/Bartender. If you have café or kitchen experience, enjoy working in a friendly environment, and are willing to take on shifts, weekends, and holidays, we’d love to have you onboard.

Many of you may remember Israel Deuna, one of the graduates from Weaving Ecosystems’ Kapit Bisig pilot run and Binhi sa Rurungan merchant last March 2024.

He is a talented 6th-generation bladesmith artisan based in Española, Palawan. Israel was diagnosed with Stage 4B liver cancer and is now receiving treatment in Manila.

We’re calling for your support in helping cover the cost of his compounding medical treatments and hospital bills. Donations can be sent directly to Israel’s family.
