It has been a month since SOUTH BAR changed its format from playing popular mainstream music to an underground hub and we are happy that in that short period of time, we were able to create a resounding buzz among southern artists/organizers. The support you have shown us is unprecedented. Unfortunately, our overhead costs were unexpectedly high during the first month of operations and so, we need to raise the bar guarantee from 5k to 8k during weekdays and 10k during weekends. Bar guarantee includes the beer sales from the gate (free beer). Total gross sales ng bar for that night. It saddens us that we had to make this decision but, we need to keep the bar afloat so you can also have a place to play in, a place where you can build a solid following. We are very enthusiastic that with your help, we can create a southern music scene we can all be proud of. South Bar's success is your success as well. That's how we see our business and that is why we are keeping everything transparent to you. We are then expecting your full cooperation in this and we are hoping that you'd continue hosting events at South Bar.
