SERVICES OFFERED

Open Bar

- Open bars feature a wide variety of hard liquors, beers and soft drinks. All paid for by the host of the event. Younger age group prefers this type of service since drinks are free flowing and lasts for 4 – 6 hours. This type of bar service is ideal for events such as family and class reunions, house or beach parties, company outings, etc. Cash Bar - Guests are charged for their individual drinks. It's often shunned because asking guests to pay for anything at your party is in bad taste, however a cash bar will save you money and you will have less drunken guests as a result. Cash bar is okay as long as you inform your guests ahead of time or if you have agreed between your peers to have a cash bar at your party and pay for your own drinks. Combination Bar - The event host may choose to provide drinks up to a certain limit. Once the limit is reach, pay-as-you-order basis shall be implemented. For example, the host will send each guest 2 drink tickets inside their invitation or supply free drinks only up until dinner is served. Afterwards guests are expected to pay for their own drinks. Limited Bar - Is like an Open Bar but only 2 or 3 kinds of drinks are served. This kind of bar service is ideal for Pre-Dinner Cocktail. It is also suited for formal events like art exhibits, conventions, weddings, or during product launching. Guests don’t have to go to the bar counter anymore since Cocktail Servers usually carry the drinks around and offers it to guests. Food and Drink Buffet – Guests serve themselves from various food and drinks on a table and often eat standing up. This type of service is ideal if the host wants to serve both food and beverage to its guests prior to dinner while waiting for other guests. Pre-mix Cocktail – This type of service is suited for small gatherings with a crowd of 10-20. No bartender is needed since drinks are pre mixed and placed in beer towers. The word 'cocktail' first appeared in print in a newspaper called 'The Farmers Cabinet' on April 28, 1803 according to cocktail historian and author David Wondrich. An Excerpt from the paper, referring to the cocktail as a morning drink, reads: 'Drank a glass of cocktail - excellent for the head...Call'd at the Doct's. [F]ound Burnham - he looked very wise - drank another glass of cocktail'.

As far as we know, the cocktail is an American Invention, and American Whiskey is believed to have been the fuel that lit the trail in to the wide-open spaces of cocktail culture history. There are thousands of Cocktail concoctions nowadays but an important part of building a firm cocktail foundation is learning the history of the spirit, ingredient of recipe used.
