Hippie Fest Mindanao 🌿☀️ What is it going to be all about? This May 29-31 2026 Happening at Thrill Playgrounds and tipi Cafe, Kinawe, Libona, Bukidnon.
Hippie Fest Mindanao is part of growing desire and need for community-driven, meaningful, and sustainable gatherings.
A space not built on commercialism as many events these days succumb to but around people, where creativity, culture, and connection come first.
Hippie Fest Mindanao is a collective effort to showcase another way. With all Musicians, Artists, performers, workshops, organizers and staff participating voluntarily out of their own passions to be a part of this movement.
There are 4 main aspects we aim to highlight with the conduction of Hippie Fest Mindanao.
1. The appreciation and celebration of local talent and music. At the heart of the festival is music expressive & diverse. This is showcased by the artists being present, performing and all the witnesses of such performances appreciating learning and jamming with them.
Pay close attention to the messages and grooves they share. Let their art move through you and you'll leave with a greater appreciation than when you first arrived. All art that is shared is done on a voluntary basis, many at their own expense. We expect all present to witness this to come from a place of genuine openness and appreciation for the diversity of performances to be showcased.
2. The appreciation and celebration of local arts, craft & food. Our curated vendors bring together crafts, art, and food made with intention from small producers, independent makers, and passionate creators.
The rejection of commercially mass produced products and ingredients which actively attempts to undermine and low ball hand made craft and homemade food will certainly be apparent during Hippie Fest Mindanao.
You will see no fast fashion or factory made crafts displayed by retail stalls. You will see minimal laboratory made or highly processed ingredients at food and beverage stalls. All crafts and consumables will be a majority of intentional and handmade products.
3. The sharing of knowledge and insight through a line up of workshop hosts. At hippie fest Mindanao this year there will be a sharing of knowledge and insight voluntarily from people you get to meet face to face. With them festival goers have the opportunity to
• Learn directly from real people
• Ask questions and engage
• Gain practical and meaningful insights
There will be a variety of topics covered by different hosts, from personal and community development, to music and art, to healthy lifestyles to sustainable agriculture and much more. Access to this in depth expertise typically comes at a high cost but this time around hosts are happy to share simply because they believe it worth you knowing.
4. Volunteerism & Community Spirit:
This festival exists because people chose to show up and contribute.
At a time where volunteering is on a rise from an all time low were glad to be a part of this important and community driven initiative. Where people get together and collaborate not for any financial gain directly but to simply be a part of something greater than any individual, and offer their time, effort, talent and skills to be a collective of diverse yet connected group attempting an event of this scale on a voluntary basis.
Tickets & Support
We aim to keep Hippie Fest Mindanao accessible to as many people as possible. At the same time, creating an event like this still comes with real costs — from setting up the venue, to supporting artists and volunteers who are traveling to be part of the gathering.
Because this is a community-driven, non-commercial event, we operate without large corporate sponsorships. Instead, the festival is made possible through collective support — from small partners, vendors, and most importantly, attendees.
Tickets are currently priced at ₱900 for the full 3-day experience.
We strongly encourage advance ticket purchases, as this directly helps us:
• Prepare and build the festival grounds
• Support artists and volunteers with transport and basic needs
• Create a more comfortable and well-organized experience for everyone
