It’s been ten days since the fire, and I still wake up hoping it was just a bad dream. But it wasn’t. We lost our kitchen—our heart, our hustle, our second home. It hurts deeply, more than words can fully express.
Hoa Tiki Bar wasn’t just a bar. It was a promise I made to myself, poured into every dish, every story shared over drinks, every moment of joy beneath our roof. Loving this place wasn’t always easy—but it was always worth it. And even in the loss, I choose to believe the fire didn’t just take—it cleared the path. It burned away the weight I’ve carried, the doubts I’ve silenced, and all the bad energy that no longer served us.
I’m holding onto faith that this is the sign I didn’t know I needed. That something greater is on the horizon. And when we return—and we will—we’ll rise with even more purpose, more grit, and more love.

This is a difficult moment for us, and we want to share it with you—our Hoa Tiki Bar family. In the early hours of June 8th, a fire took everything from our kitchen, leaving it burned to the ground. It’s a heartbreaking setback, but we are grateful that everyone is safe.
