💗 The Floating Bar — We’re Not Done Yet! 🌴🍹
To some people, this might be just another bar floating in the Caribbean. But to us, and to so many of the people who have become part of our lives, it’s so much more than that. It’s family. It’s community. It’s a little piece of paradise where strangers become friends and friends become family.
From the day we became part of The Floating Bar, our goal has been simple: Love on people. Make them feel welcome. Give them a place where they can be themselves, laugh a little louder, forget their worries, and hopefully leave with some of the best memories of their vacation. And for our locals, we want to be that favorite hangout where you always feel at home.
We’re a little crazy, a little unconventional, and far from perfect. But we have big hearts, big dreams, and a whole lot of love for this beautiful place we’re blessed to call home.
We know there’s history here. There are stories, opinions, and things that happened long before we came along. And let’s face it, there’s never a shortage of people willing to share their opinions from behind a keyboard. But if you’ve never taken the time to come meet us, get to know us, or see what we’re actually trying to build, then you’re missing out on the bigger picture.
We’re not here to dwell on the past. We’re here to build something better.
We’ve already weathered tragedy, local chaos, setbacks, and more challenges than most people will ever know. We’ve been rebuilding this old girl little by little, often starting with next to nothing but determination and a dream.
And now? Well, she decided to take a little swim of her own. 💔
Was this a devastating blow? Absolutely. Are we exhausted, frustrated, and heartbroken? You bet we are.
But are we giving up? Not a chance.
We’re going to raise this old girl back up, dust ourselves off, and keep building. And when we’re done, she’s going to be better, stronger, and more beautiful than ever.
Because this has never been just about selling drinks. It’s about the people. The friendships. The laughter. The snorkeling adventures. The games, the music, the sunsets, and those afternoons when you come for one cocktail and somehow end up staying all day.
It’s about making you feel like you’ve found your favorite little home bar in the middle of paradise.
To everyone who has reached out, offered a hand, shared kind words, checked on us, or simply believed in what we’re trying to create — THANK YOU. From the bottom of our hearts. You have no idea how much that means to us right now.
And to those who haven’t met us yet, we can’t wait to welcome you into our crazy little Floating Bar family.
There’s still so much we want to build, so many people we want to meet, and so many memories waiting to be made.
This is a setback, not the end of our story.
So stick around, friends. This old girl still has a whole lot of life left in her, and so do we.
