The Rockshop Battle of the bands starts this Friday! We've opened this year up to solo acts and bands that do original spins on covers so expect alot of variety!

Introducing our first act Kalez!

New Zealand contemporary hip hop artist and rapper Caleb "Kale" Stewart has a combination of quick-witted rhymes and adventurous production that incorporates everything from brooding synths to hard hitting drums.

If you wana get down and support our local music scene and back your favourite artists head down to B&L this friday for heat 1! Doors are free entry from 7pm!

So if you haven't already heard. The legendary Dick Johnson is coming to town this weekend and he's taking over B&L!

Dick Johnson/Magik J has been busting out the baddest beats for some time now. Former resident at the legendary Haçienda nightclub in the 90's, George FM mainstay, music director for sythony. You've probably seen him on the mainstage at a major NZ festival from Homegrown to Electric Avenue, hes made tunes with everyone from Fatboy slim to L.AB and hes playing this Saturday for one night only at little ol Beer & Loathing!
