Grgich Hills Estate was established in 1977 after Croatian winemakers Miljenko "Mike" Grgich achieved international fame overnight following the historic 1976 Judgment of Paris tasting. Today, it remains a family-owned and operated winery farming 148 hectares of estate-grown, organically-farmed grapes across 5 vineyards in the Napa Valley.

”A Sherry Long Lunch At El Puerto De Santa Maria”

We are excited to launch our first event of 2025 – a relaxed long lunch of sumptuous Spanish cuisine featuring sherry with every course from entrée to dessert.

The wines from Andalucía have more than 3000 years of history. Sherry can only be produced in this region of the world, and is made in a range of styles from very dry to lusciously sweet, making it the ultimate food-friendly wine. We’ve all heard of Pedro Ximénez, but did you know that around 95% of sherry produced is dry?

Whether you are sherry lovers like us, or intrigued by its styles and want to explore, we’re bringing you the chance to enjoy the perfect pairing of sherry with a delicious feast of tapas-style dishes and your fabulous friends in a casual atmosphere, just the way the Spanish do fiesta!

What an incredible evening at Noble Rot! 🥂 We were honored to host the launch of Martinborough’s newest wine brand, Oraterra , alongside the celebrated Prophet’s Rock from Central Otago.

Guests were treated to a perfectly paired 5-course degustation while winemakers Wilco Lam and Paul Pujol shared their inspiring journeys through terroir and craft. 🍷

Join us for this memorable evening of the 25th Anniversary celebration of VALLI. We are thrilled to be hosting legendary winemaker Jen Parr whose passion for wine, VALLI and winemaking knows no bounds. Jen will be presenting the story of VALLI through a comparison of sub-regional wines and current styles.

When Grant Taylor established VALLI in 1998, a little over 20 hectares of grapes were planted; today there are over 2,000 hectares. Fuelled by his philosophy to showcase purity of expression and terroir-driven differences between Otago’s sub-regions, his vision was fortified when established winemaker Jen Parr arrived on the VALLI scene a decade ago, seeking her place to make high-quality, site-expressive wines with honesty and integrity.

Together, Jen and Grant craft wines with a sense of place and season and have grown to become essential to the fabric of the New Zealand wine story as one of our most coveted and successful wineries. To celebrate, we are bringing you a taste of the just-released commemorative 25th Anniversary Cuvée – the 2022 VALLI Gibbston Pinot Noir – alongside a delicious 5-course degustation menu to complete the sensory delight. A special evening not to be missed!
