After Deathtrippa's last appearance at the 2024 "secret rave" hosted in a disused office block, we decided to contact him to feature on another one of our campaigns. Joining him is some of Wellington's finest digital militants who will be complementing his digital chaos with selections of Jungle/Drum n Bass/Gabba, and many other forms of electronic disorder.

WELCOME! BAEOLI AND INTEC

Intec was the result of an experimental fertility procedure in a lab, carried out in an ex-postal LDV van on the ridgeway during a solstice party in the late 80s – part man, part Roland-303, he has consistently been fused with the latest of neuro sound design technology at least once a month ever since. Somehow capable of complex systems process engineering while being on the sesh for over 20 years, his sets have been described as both 'sick bruv' and 'mean'. Since moving to New Zealand, he has been spinning in Wellington and the north of the south at nights, doofs and multiple NZ Festivals. Now, after joining forces with the extra-terrestrial AI known as Third Eye Hi-Fi some fear he may become unstoppable.
He has supported a wide range of artists over the years including 4am Kru, Andy C, Break, Calibre, CODEX, Cyantific, Dub Phizix, Ed Rush, Enei, Foreign Concept, Frankee, Gerra & Stone, Kasra, Sepia, Soul:Motion, Stealth, Sully, Total Science, Wilkinson and Xtrah

Baeoli is a junglist on a mission to make your heart race and your soul levitate. Inspired by the golden era of 90s jungle, Baeoli blends thunderous basslines with ethereal, melody rich selections that nod to the past while keeping the energy firmly rooted in the present. Every set is carefully curated to channel the spirit of 90s jungle through a modern lens.

Straight out of Bristol, UK, DJMALLGOTH marries the heavy hitting chaos of acoustic drums with ear - splitting techno kicks and twisted synth melodies. Raised on heavy music and fried by the internet, they bring a mean, hyperactive, yet somehow graceful take on the jungle genre.

A true OG of the Wellington music scene, Ferg represents the left hemisphere of the brain that is Warpath Promotions. He is the OG visionary behind Warpath, which was an idea born from his passion for fostering an inclusive, hardcore-driven music culture. J-KON
Deep in the heart of the underground, J-Kon has been carving out a sound that blends the raw sound of jungle with the intense rhythms of drum and bass. His music pulses with dark, hypnotic basslines, jagged breakbeats, and eerie atmospheres that transport listeners to the depths of the wild. With releases that echo through the underground J-Kon has earned a reputation as a producer who can navigate the depths of both soul-stirring atmosphere and mind-bending intensity.

CASPIAN
Caspian is a young DJ and Producer based in Ōtautahi but originally from Riwaka. He
produces and mixes music within the realms of Halftime Dnb, Jungle and Minimal Drum and Bass.
With a selection of self-released music, Caspian has had music released on a number of NZ labels with a handful of releases on international Jungle/ DnB labels such as Armory, Onset Audio and Danger Chamber.
The events you've probably seen Caspian perform were at functions such as Rolling Hertz, Twisted, Into The Vortex, Oasis, Dunedin Winter Solstice and other gigs around Christchurch and Wellington.
Expect to hear a lot of original production with a mixture of intense Halftime Dnb breaks and atmospheric Jungle.

AREKATERA
The right hemisphere of the brain and the left ventricle of the heart that is Warpath. Hailing from the tire-marinated streets of Upper Hutt, Arekatera is a whirlwind of energy and innovation you're bound to get caught up in. Starting their music career off as a Hip Hop DJ / Producer, Arekatera is also known for their high-octane electronic sets, where he blends the ADHD Gen Z vibes of modern Breakcore with the classic raw energy of Jungle; often splashing in elements of Digital-Hardcore, Gabber and Miami Bass; Arekatera brings a unique blend of sound they can only describe as Hyper-Hip Hop.

The left hemisphere of the brain and right ventricle of the heart that is Warpath. He is the OG visionary behind Warpath, which was an idea born from his passion for fostering an inclusive, hardcore-driven music culture. Big Ferg L.H specialises in the deep, dark, and militant sounds of Jungle and Drum & Bass, regularly spinning tracks from legends like Rumbleton and Friske. Ferg's sets are intense voyages that fill you with the vigor needed to head into battle. On top of this, he is also a prominent member of Aotearoa's HC scene; having roots in bands such as Severed Beliefs. Ferg also has a commitment to putting on all-ages shows, stemming from his own introduction to gigging, dedicating numerous hours to ensuring the next generation has the same opportunities to experience live music in its rawest form.

WARPATH SOLDIER AND MAN OF MANY GENRES P-S-I

DJ P-S-I aka PoundsperSquareInch is a well seasoned Junglist and core member of local soundsystem crew Third-Eye-Hifi.
His origins as a passionate fan of jungle, breakcore and all manner of underground rave music can be traced back to many years attending and getting involved with UK crews like Deeper Understanding, Amen-tal and Jungle Syndicate since the late 2000s over a variety of festivals and free parties.
His connection to the underground runs deep and has been getting stuck in since moving to wellington in 2019; from organising gigs, making poster art and sharing the stage with the likes of 4am Crew, Coco Bryce and Sully on the decks as well as recently heading a slot on RadioActive's HomeBass you can be sure he's committed to spreading the good word of amens, 808s and 303s.

OUR FIRST INTERNATIONAL ARTIST AND WARPATH MERCENARY TAMEN

DJing in clubs since the age of 16, Naarm / Melbourne based, Irish native Tamen hasbrought his energetic sets headlining shows in cities including Auckland, Berlin, Dublin,Hong Kong, London, Madrid and Paris as well as leading festivals such as OutlookFestival and Sun and Bass Festival. He has also shared the stage with an extensive list ofartists such as Amit, Double O, Djrum, Hype, Marcus Intalex, Martyn, Remarc, Paradoxand Scuba as well as playing back to back sets with Tim Reaper both in Melbourne andon NTS in London.As a producer he has released music with Pugilist on leading labels Rupture, Dext, 3024,Repertoire, Trule and Echo Chamber. With POD Tamen has also released the recent INOEP on Straight Up Breakbeat. There are no signs of slowing down with forthcoming EPson the legendary Samurai, EPs and singles on Echo Chamber, Modern Hypnosis andmore. Garnering consistent DJ support from the likes of scene stalwarts Mantra, OmUnit, Tim Reaper and Coco Bryce, as well as icon's like Laurent Garnier and The BlessedMadonna, Tamen’s music and DJ sets are guaranteed to leave an impression. MAKING HER WARPATH DEBUT IS Whaea G

Local tastemaker, Whaea G supplies forward thinking selections with a focus on sparking neurons and moving feet. Humbled in servantry to the artform, she seeks to carve a way that follows the path laid out by sonic innovators before her.
Her sets explore the relationships between a variety of points across the spectrum of soundsystem music, with an approach that remains rooted in dub, jungle, garage and techno. Sporting a crate that touches all corners of the global bass diaspora, G may be fresh to the decks, but can be considered an old hat when it comes to selections.
A rising force in Te-Whanganui-a-Tara’s DJ scene, she has performed alongside artists including Innamind Recordings, Sully, Jeremy Sylvester and 4am Kru, as well as rocking events such as Garage Sale, Newtown Festival and Cuba D**a. Whether you’re after daytime grooving, late night hypnosis, or something in between, Whaea G has something packed in the arsenal that will satisfy your musical urges!
