Join us for a Festive Sparkling W**e Experience at Marty’s Eatery 🍾

Join us for a relaxed, delicious treat between Christmas and New Year’s! We’ve teamed up with our favourite local pizza spot, Marty’s Eatery, to bring you Sparkle & Slice - a chance to enjoy dinner with friends or family and add a guided sparkling w**e tasting led by Sam (fresh off completing his WSET Diploma).

What to Expect:

Guided Sparkling W**e Tasting: Taste three hand-selected premium sparkling w**es for $15, with Sam sharing the stories, regions, and techniques behind each bottle.

- Contarini Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Dry Millesimato - Italian Prosecco

- Esses Non Vintage Brut - sparkling w**e from Kaikōura, NZ (Methode Marlborough)

Dinner Options:

- Order from Marty’s full menu and enjoy dinner as usual, then add the tasting for $15.

- Or, enjoy the special “Tasting & Slice” combo for $21 — $15 for the tasting plus $6 for a large slice of pizza from three delicious options.

Happy international women’s day to all the wonderful women out there, but especially to all the women in w**e! 🍷 As a male dominated industry it is so important to us at Vine to Table to elevate and celebrate the women who contribute so much to the w**e world.

We have had a wonderful week connecting with lots of amazing women, from meeting & chatting with industry icons like , , and Katherine from **es at the Martinborough Pre-Harvest Festival hosted by Poppie from to showcasing fantastic women w**emakers, Julianne Brogden (**es) and Mel Skinner () at our private tasting event last night 🥂

Some other women who have also inspired us in our w**e journey include the one & only , **echat, Valerie at **e, Virginie at , Tamra at **es, Penn from , Tess from .salut.w**ebar and Loren currently at - as well as all the other women working magic in the w**e industry 🫶

W**e has woven itself into the fabric of our journey, becoming one of the few constants in life's ebbs and flows. From travelling NZ top to bottom in our campervan, hitting as many w**eries in as many different regions as we could in 6 months; sharing the enchantment of Waiheke Island as we worked at Man O'War together; WSET qualifications; celebrating each milestone in our life with a carefully chosen bottle of Ch*****ne; living in a lots of beautiful places so Sam was able to gain invaluable experience at cellar doors across the country; embarking on an almost 4-year quest to figure out AJ's dream Chardonnay; adventuring into the exhilarating realm of opening our very own boutique w**e shop & w**e subscription service: to now having recently moved to Martinborough and be living among the vines! 🍇

There is no setting that would have been more perfect for us to say 'I Do' and we are incredibly thankful for the way it all unfolded 🍾

Well, hi 👋 We thought it was about time to re-introduce the heart & soul behind our w**e journey. We're Sam (guy) & AJ (gal), also part of the VTT clan is our son, Austin, golden retriever, Mango (who we know lots of you met when we had the w**e shop) & Nacho (our tabby cat, sadly not featured)! Here's a couple of photos featuring life lately along with some wonderful w**e we've been drinking (saved the best til last ➡️)

Our presence on the ol' IG has been somewhat flaky throughout 2023 but it hasn't been without good reason! This year has been jam packed for us; from having our first child to relocating our entire lives to Martinborough (yes, we live in Martinborough now!!🍷), it has been hectic to say the least.. But we are soooo excited to be coming back into this space as we have a bunch of stuff planned to help you delve deeper into your personal w**e journeys ~ from uncorking the secrets of different varietals to savouring the nuances of regions around the world, this is the place you want to be ✨

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing Dads out there 🥂

This evening, to celebrate Sam's first Father's Day, we popped the absolutely delicious Millesime from , (whose cellar door we were lucky enough to see for the first time last week)! An incredible methode Marlborough sparkling w**e that was whole bunch pressed before ageing on lees for 60 months (5 years!!!!!). The results are incredible and we'd definitely recommend getting your hands on a bottle of this for your next special occasion 🥂

We hope it's been a lovely day for you all. Let's raise a glass to all the Dads in our lives who make such a huge impact & love us so well ♥️
