Our lovely Lewis is moving overseas & so we are looking for a somebody to come and take the Next Door wheel in his place.

This is an excellent role for somebody who wants to take their next step behind the bar, as you have the opportunity to run Bar Next Door independently but with support and guidance from Tom & Juno through the hole in the wall at Margot.
Whether you are looking for creative freedom with cocktails, or would simply like to stay in the barwork but enjoy earlier nights (blessings of being in the burbs!) this role could be great for you.
While the role involves sole charge management of Bar Next Door, you’re joining the wider Margot & Next Door team so it is a great balance for somebody who enjoys being part of a team but can work independently.

Next Door is open Wednesday to Saturday, with an extra shift available at Margot on Tuesdays for those who prefer a 5 day work week.

Today marks our lovely Nathan’s last shift. Nathan has been with us for a beautiful year & is now off to join some of his friends (including some other Margot alumni!) in London after an exciting jaunt around the Mediterranean.
Nathan is one of the kindest souls we have had the pleasure of meeting & Margot has been all the better for having him here. His excellent taste has influenced everyone in our team; through the music in the kitchen, to our Margot movie club - and even in the friendships he’s helped bridge across our team and beyond.
He has a contagious enthusiasm for food & wine; always plotting the next delicious meal he’ll cook his friends.
Thank you so much Nathan, we can’t wait to see where your travels take you & which kitchen is lucky enough to have you next. We’ll be here ready to discuss about the bucks or the traitors whenever you are!

One of our favourite wines this Autumn is 2024 Amphora Gamay Noir. Think ripe strawberries & bramble, a light redcurrant tartness with a plush mouthfeel and a delicate texture. Amy’s wines are incredible & this is our favourite vintage of her Gamay to date, so come down and join us for a glass.
