Welcome to New Hoplands (EST 1953) Third generation hop growers who are proud to be producing hops for the New Zealand and world markets. New Hoplands has 23 different varieties of hops consisting of both Northern and southern hemisphere plants. as well as our organic hop farm which was established in 1990. New Hoplands is more passionate than ever to continue to provide a unique hop selection to brewers through grower owned company New Zealand Hops Ltd!!!

If you’ve ever wondered what happens to all that beautiful green mess of leaf and stalk once the hops have been stripped off the bine

​Well, at New Hoplands, as a proud NZ Hops grower, we let all that goodness do another round and contribute once again to growing more of that sensational Humulus lupulus. A closed circle is a great circle! ⭕️♻️♻️
​The white string you see is fully compostable it breaks down in the heat of the compost and becomes part of the black gold we spread back onto the gardens.
​From the earth, back to the earth... oh, and also in your b**r. The hops, that is!
