Another big weekend in Timaru - great to see so many South Island Masters Games competitors out and about enjoying some South Canterbury hospitality!

We’ve had a few inquiries about the Masquerade Ball which was advertised to be hosted at Hector’s tonight - this was cancelled by the organisers so we will be open as usual 🐾

We have a huge weekend of festivities coming up ...

* Friday - Watch the South Canterbury Vintage Car Club parade with jockey colours/silks through Timaru's Stafford St from 4.30pm
* Saturday - Live music with the talented Frank Ramirez from 8pm-late
* Sunday - We are proud to sponsor Race 1 at the South Canterbury Racing Club - Inc Phar Lap Centennial Feature Race Meeting fro Phar Lap's 100th birthday. Hector Black's will be open from the slightly later time of 6pm.

If you are heading to the races there will be free buses from Timaru to the racecourse from 11am. Buses will depart from bus stops on Station St, Strathallan St, Sophia St, Evans St and the main road and will provide a loop service for a couple of hours. A return service will operate from about 4.30pm from the racecourse.

First race 12.10pm - last race 5.50pm
