🍻 FATHER’S DAY AT THE PACKHOUSE 🍻

This Father’s Day, we’re serving up our beef roast with all the goods for $30, or make it the full deal for $40 with a dessert.

We will have our regular desserts (sticky toffee pudding and chocolate tart), and the boys are also doing a special bread & butter pudding with butterscotch sauce this Sunday only! 🍮

Stuck for a gift? We’ve got Lumberjack Brewing mixed 6-packs for just $20 this week! They're the perfect last-minute Father’s Day gift, especially for the Dad who already has enough socks.

🧩🍻 INTRODUCING PUBBLE! 🍻🧩

We’re bringing something completely new to The Packhouse!

Starting this Wednesday, we’ll be hosting Pubble monthly! We're giving it a test run this week, but are hoping to run it on the third Wednesday of every month.

What the hell is a Pubble, you say? Think escape room meets pub quiz. Your team will be presented with questions, puzzles, challenges and clues on the big screen, and you’ll need to work together to figure out the answers before the other teams do.

🤔 With a quiz, you usually either know the answer or you don’t
🧠 With Pubble, everything you need is in front of you to work it out

It’s about spotting patterns, making connections, thinking laterally, communicating with your team and putting your heads together to crack the puzzles. You don’t need to be a walking encyclopaedia, you just need a team who can think and work together.

🥪 That's A Wrap On The Alabama Slammer! 🥪

Six weeks. Hundreds and hundreds of toasties. A whole lot of ox cheek, melted cheese, and delicious bread from .

We’re bloody proud to say that the Alabama Slammer finished 5th in the People’s Choice, out of around 200 entries from across New Zealand.

If you voted for us, shared a post, brought your mates in, or just demolished one at the pub, we are super grateful for your support and hope you enjoyed the competition as much as we did!

We just missed out on a spot in the finals, but the Alabama Slammer was awarded Highly Commended in the official judged competition. To have our toastie recognised alongside some other incredible creations from around the country is something we’re very proud of. Jason and Rob did an incredible job!
