Taupō Marist Rugby Club players get kitted out for the season

A $5,502 NZCT grant is helping purchase new uniforms and training balls for junior and senior players!

Maverick, an U7 player says, "Thanks for the brand-new stuff, now I can run even faster!” 😄
And Archie, an U11 player, adds, "I love practicing with new rugby balls, they're so grippy." 🏉

NZCT can fund this community good thanks to the fundraising partnership we share with the Crafty TROUT Brewery and The Lucky Lizard via their host responsible gaming rooms.

Last week gave a young lady with brain cancer a nice lunch at Replete and an afternoon of pampering at The Hair Studio. An enjoyable meal for family and friends was also added in at Lionels.

Lots of you may not know about some things that go on in the background while you are enjoying a bevy or two. We collect all the cans that you are helpfully emptying 😁and with the help of Didymo Dave we support Cans for Kids. Proceeds go to giving kids with illnesses etc experiences like this.. so cheers to you all who help with that contribution 🍻

Our very popular pool table has been given a birthday with a nice new felt.. tonight it was christened by the epic pool players, ‘ebony and ivory’ 🤦‍♀️ winning the inaugural match.

🛼 🛼 Fast‑paced skating, powerful moves, big community vibes.

We’re proud to help Taupo Roller Derby League keep rolling with a $5,000 grant for venue hire.

Participant Kat Turkilsen, aka WildKat, says, “I’m an introverted person and work from home full-time. The Taupo Roller Derby League helps me to be social, get active and be part of the local community. It can be hard to make friends as an adult and with TRDL I feel like I’ve found my tribe.”
