OPEN OPEN OPEN Saturday 16th August 2025. There are a few bare patches but more than enough to ski. Don’t think we will get another day out of it so come on up and have a play and an Anderson pie 😀 No wind at present and about 3 degrees. Will keep you updated if things change. OPEN OPEN OPEN Monday 11th August 2025. Get on up there while we have snow - remember it could go overnight. No new snow overnight but we have a great cover minus 1.1 degrees and a cold southerly wind wrap up warm. Road is open caution is required. Take care leave room between vehicles 4wd is advised

Woo hoo and we have snow

SNOW-date ❄️ it’s an update about snow…

Roads to te maunga are closed whānau! Both Pembroke and Mānaia roads from the national park boundary gates are a no go zone overnight. The crew will reassess the situation āpōpō/tomorrow.

So hold tight until then please. We’ll give an update as soon as we can in the morning.

Stay warm, get cosy on the couch, download the Antenno App if you haven’t already, and then watch a Christmas movie🍿

Update | Pembroke Road from Ngāti Ruanui Stratford Mountain House to the Plateau Carpark has been reopened, but this section of the road may close again overnight as snow is expected to fall to 400 metres. If it does close overnight, signage will be posted at the intersection of Pembroke and Barclay Roads.

We’ll also be closing Mānaia Road from the national park boundary overnight. Please don’t attempt to visit the snow this evening.
