What better way to bring our Cocktail Eras journey to a close, than with our house Signature, The Applecart Martini.

Our Applecart Martini takes us back to an era that defined New Zealand - the mid 1800's, otherwise known as the Gold Rush Era.

Our signature cocktail pays tribute to the pioneering spirit of Central Otago orchardist, Jean Feraud, who journeyed more than 210 kilometres by bullock wagon to carry his apples to market in Dunedin. No sealed roads, no shortcuts—and certainly no cocktail waiting on arrival.

Our Cocktail Eras journey arrives at its sixth stop: 21st Century Modern Icons.

Meet the Cult of Verde! A fresh take on the classic Last Word, inspired by the vivid greens and rugged character of the Queenstown landscape. Bright, balanced and a little wild around the edges, it honours the original while introducing a gentle savoury twist.

Fourth on our Cocktails Eras journey is the beautiful 'Sunset Botanica'.

Society's most famous fruity sparkle came about during the 1950s, AKA the Mid-century Rebirth Era.

At Lombardi and St Moritz Hotel, we're swapping the nostalgia of the Shirley Temple for a tart yet floral sip with an in-house balsamic grenadine. Garnished with cherry leather. Delicious!
