All main meals are priced and designed as complete meals without the necessity for additional extras. Where possible, only the freshest of locally caught fish and locally harvested produce are served. We think that we are the best steak and seafood restaurant in Nelson,

Natural Oysters

Served on crushed ice with lemon, garnish & malt vinegar

Battered Oysters

Here at The Anchor, we’re lucky enough to meet so many of the world’s essential workers; the people who keep the world moving. The ones who sacrifice precious time with loved ones, spending days, weeks, or even months out at sea.

And when they’re back on land, we get to share in the smiles, laughs, stories, and good times alongside them.

From this Sunday, we’ll be closing early as of 4pm!

It’s not forever — just our way of riding out the winter blues and recharging so we can keep bringing you the good stuff 💙

⏰ OUR WINTER HOURS:
