Dearly loved husband of Harriet Powhiri Unuia (nee Dean) deceased
Loved son of Nooareauri and Teina Unuia (nee Kairau) both deceased.
Loved brother of Nito Kairau,Teremoana (Charlie) Unuia, and Rouru Unuia (all deceased).
Much loved and cherished father of Teina (deceased), Tracey and Adrian, Helen and Carol, Jeneane and Tracy, Moana and Brandon, Richard and Laura
Adored Poppa of Jojo, Teina, Ashley, Toni, Phineas, Zach, Brandon August, Lara Lu, Grace, Jack, Maraea Jean, Manawa, Dupree, Nia-Tiwha
Adored Great Poppa of Maia, Iverson, Arlo, Aspen, and Rhode
Dad passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his ngutuare tangata.
Dad is lying in state at Tipene Funerals 27 Kenepuru Drive, Porirua

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects, during these times.
Funeral Service will be held at the same venue on Friday 31st July at 11am
Following the service we will have food and drinks to celebrate his life. This will be held at the Legends Bar (the Ledge) 1 Serlby Place, Porirua at 1.30pm
