// What did we do with the approximately 1 nice day summer has delivered us so far? We took FIELD TRIP. Cheers to the excellent bar staff on our ferry trip, who delivered us, primed and prepped for our expedition into cullenery delights. In the words of Max Verstappen - “Simply lovely”. 5-stars for Ono’s facials.

// Archive Friday: The clock hit 4:59 and ‘Steve’ had places to be. With not a flaming minute to spare, young Stevie made a firm commitment to getting to Lime by any means necessary. Graciously, our friendly bar staff greeted him with open arms and a friendly smile after his epic journey, despite the glint of desperation and glean of sweat across his determined brow.

// We’re sure there’s some “a duck walks into a bar” joke here, but we’re too flabbergasted to think straight. We get a few dogs popping in, but ducks? Not so much. Clearly, Señor Quackie felt the storm the other night was a little intense, so he retreated to the comfort of Lime with his new bestie, Liv, to partake in our ‘Happier than Usual’ specials... frozen pea style (not on the menu but we aim to accommodate) (please leave a 5-star review). Should you know where Liv’s unusually friendly feathered compadre comes from (seems too tame to be wild), please advise. We’ve loved having him, but surely he prefers pooping in his own pond? And we’re out of sanitiser.

// You’re not going out, WE’RE going out! Recently we hit the strip to pay our respects to a few of our local friends and celebrate being, well, alive. Winter can be a real ball-buster so we engaged the services of .lantern for some pre-dinner libations, for some of the very best pizza known to mankind, and for several tasty AF post-dinner ‘go-us’ cocktails. Cheers.

// It was a cold and blustery one but it did sweet FA to stop the truly dedicated from coming out to welcome Liv back to her home turf. Much to Liv's disgust/dismay/delight(?), we hit her hard with a surprise lu'au where all and sundry received the Hawaiian custom of (eh-hem) getting lei'd, and grown-ups blew bubbles like it's just another day in the playground. A bit of mid-winter joy, which may have to be repeated at some point...
