One Hat Again!

We are truly honoured to once again receive 1 hat from Cuisine magazine

A huge thank you to the team at Cuisine for continuing to recognise and support restaurants, chefs and hospitality teams right across New Zealand — from our larger cities to the regions and small communities that make our food scene so special.

For a small regional restaurant like Terra, this recognition means a lot. It’s wonderful to know that the hard work, passion and commitment of our team is being noticed and celebrated.

Thank you, Cuisine, for shining a light on restaurants up and down the country and helping showcase the incredible talent and produce we have here in Aotearoa.

And, of course, thank you to our amazing Terra team and guests for being part of our journey.

A great Wednesday spent tasting outstanding w**es with Alex from Greywacke, sharing stories and celebrating an industry we're proud to be part of.

A huge congratulations to Kevin Judd on his induction into the New Zealand W**egrowers Fellowship. A well-deserved honour recognising his incredible contribution to New Zealand w**e and his breathtaking vineyard photography.

It's fitting our 2 shared passions—w**e and photography—continue to bring people together.

At Terra, our sides are never an afterthought. They're crafted with the same care, attention, and creativity as every dish that leaves our kitchen.

This side brings together layers of fresh Won bok, house-made kimchi, crisp mung beans, spring onion, sweet pear, and crunchy chilli peanuts, all finished with a rich sesame dressing. Every ingredient has a purpose—balancing freshness, texture, sweetness, spice, and crunch in every bite.

It's not just something that sits beside your meal. It's designed to elevate it.

We believe every plate should feel complete, and that means giving every component the attention it deserves. Sometimes, the side dish ends up stealing the show.

Join us in Paihia and discover why every detail matters at Terra.
