Sunday special

Hard to believe, but it’s not always about pizza

We’ve spent the day cooking up batches of Bolognese and Meatballs with mince from our own Te Horo farm.
Come in tonight for Spaghetti Bolognese and add the Meatballs for half price.
That’s $27 for a freshly cooked hearty feed.
Available between 5.00 and 7.00 tonight while it lasts.

We are very sorry that we won't be making any pizzas tonight or probably over the weekend.
After some issues with our dough we made entirely new batches and had it fail ... again.
Our best analysis is that the yeast we have has failed.

We will have to source some new yeast and start from scratch ... again ...

We know we had to cancel some orders tonight and we're deeply sorry

We're 100% committed to the best possible quality of food and given we can't deliver it we have little option but to close until we replace our yeast, make new dough and test it. This will likely take 3 days.

We'll test our new dough again tomorrow and keep you posted.

Thursday 2nd February
We're very sorry but we need to be closed tonight.
We've had a small issue with our dough not proving correctly which has made some of our bases seem as though they are not cooking through.

We think we've got this sorted and have fresh dough made. It should be ready for Pizzas tomorrow.
