September 5% Project - On The House 💛

Since 2017, the New Plymouth-based food rescue charity has been collecting surplus food from across Taranaki and getting it to people and whānau who need it most, for free.

And the impact is huge. In the last year alone, On The House redistributed more than 260,000kg of food. The equivalent of 578,000+ meals, reaching almost 16,000 households across the region.

This month, 5% of our beer sales will help fund a new commercial freezer for their Meal Donor Program, giving On The House dedicated storage to prepare, store and deliver meals to YMCA’s Te Whare ō Tapatahi night shelter, with more room to grow as demand does.
