Gemma & Jeremy

This wedding was approx eleventy seven years ago now. I just have no ability to keep my social media updated and for some reason I missed uploading this?! Unless I have then you get to see it twice, you're welcome.

This was a fun as heck and the property the ceremony took place was actually located on top of the world? Surrounded by whānau, friends and their beautiful tamariki, they made it all officially official. Man I LOVE my job, what a privilege to be part of moments like this.

Gem's dress was best on ground for me, possibly forever and ever because it was the prettiest, sparkliest gown 😍

Mr & Mrs Dewar

The most picturesque cottage scene for this beauty of a ceremony (Hurworth Cottage ily). Was skonnnkkkkkin hot, but we shan't complain because we thought it might rain so a win's a win.

Laura was my student teacher a few moons ago, so it was just incredible to have this special honour of helping her and D tie the knot.

We're so spoilt in Taranaki for beautiful places to host weddings?!

Arohamaaaaai. I'm the WORST at keeping up with my social media, which is ridiculous because I have all of the stunning photos of stunning couples to share?!

Like these two hooligans, Liezl and Chris, whose ceremony was full of banter and lols. They were one of those couples who made my job insanely easy and fun, a great reminder about how freaking cool this mahi is. Also, there were two other couples I have married at this wedding, was basically a reunion?!

Ngā mihi kōrua, for choosing me to stand with you, and making me laugh until my cheeks hurt. Your life is going to be epic, I know it. Don't be strangers x

I just need to preface this by saying, Meta is tanking the quality of the photos and I absolutely have no idea why?! Sorry 😭😭

Anyway. LOOK AT THEM. These two were an absolute hoot and a half, and just so easy to work with. Their day was fun, relaxed and oh so sunshiney 😍 A couple of flower men set the vibes, and then I got to have a blast telling their story and celebrating their journey together. Their planned dip kiss half way down the aisle absolutely didn't go to plan, but it was a good laugh 😂

Thanks beautiful humans, for being epic to work with, and for being so bloody photogenic?! Coming out of my posting hiatus with these stunning pics from my gal . Give me moooorreeeee.

A good celebrant is worth their weight in gold.

What you see- A person standing up reading a script and then leaving the ceremony. There for an hour or two, max. Easy as, right?

What you don't see- the meetings with couples prior to make sure I am getting the right vibe for their ceremony, and we're on the same page.
The hours upon hours of writing ceremonies, editing and refining until perfect.
The email constantly bouncing around in my inbox discussing ceremony plans.
Not just responding to enquiries, but helping people find other celebrants if I'm unavailable, or supporting them with choosing other vendors for their day.
The constant reminders pinging on my phone, ensuring I am not forgetting to do something like send a reminder to apply for your license or to confirm the items you are hiring from me.
The rehearsals, that sometimes take 30mins but also can go well over an hour.
Packing and repacking my bag the day before a wedding, triple checking I have everything.
The constant anxiety that I have forgotten something, or that I am not going to do the ceremony the justice it deserves.
Reading the scripts as I do jobs around my house to ensure I am confident with it.
Planning my outfits so that I blend in with your day.
Supporting nervous brides and grooms on the day so they feel calm, even though sometimes I am riddled with anxiety on the inside.
Navigating family/guest conflicts on the day of a wedding, ensuring everyone is able to enjoy the day.
Time away from my son during summer.

I constantly see celebrants be undervalued on wedding forums, because we just have to "show up on the day". I wanted to be real with you. It's an amazing job, and can be as easy or as hard as you make it. But nothing amazing ever came from it being easy. Your celebrant is worth everything you pay and more. They can make or break your ceremony. And trust me, they are terrified of being the break.

I put everything into this mahi, I truly adore it. There's so many layers to it, more than I could list. But I am here to make sure my couples feel amazing, excited, calm and joyous on their day.
I am worth my weight in gold.

This is your sign to marry your best friend.

Marry the person who makes you feel safe. Who makes you feel comfortable to express every single piece of you. Who loves you even when you are driving each other up the wall. Who knows EXACTLY how to make you laugh. Who can support your dreams, celebrate your highs and nurture you through your lows.

Phoebe and Courtnay have found that with each other, ten fold. I'm so proud I got to be with them on their special day. To feel the love in that room, not only that they have for each other, but the love that their guests have for them. I had the best time telling their story and celebrating their relationship. They are the ultimate dynamic duo- yin and yang personified.

An incredible couple with the most exciting future ahead, and I'll be cheering you on every step of the way my friends!! 💕💕 thank you for asking me to be your cele, and kicking my season off in the best way possible!!!!!

Kia ora!

Every year, hold the . Workplaces all over Taranaki do collections amongst staff and clients, but as a wedding vendor I work solo, as do many others. So why not get together, have a clean out of our wardrobes, and donate to the pop up shop so they can raise funds to continue the important mahi they do in our region!!
Wedding vendors, clients and in between- if you have good quality clothing to donate please message me! I will personally come pick them up, it truly is that easy to support an amazing cause.

(Please only donate clothes in good condition)

Get in touch, share the post, tag vendors! Spread the word 👏

It's been a while since I last did a wee intro post about myself (3 years in fact), and maaaaate, a LOT has happened in that time. Who am I now?! Well, I created a whole human! I am a proud māmā to a nearly 2 year old tama, who keeps me on my toes! Honestly, that feels like most of my identity these days and I'm trying to claw back a semblance of who I was pre sleepless nights and wiggles songs.

I wear my heart on my sleeve, I am a ridiculous empath (oh your bridesmaid is super emotional? Ah well same now), and honestly (super humbly) a bit of a good time! I love this gig, and all the moments of laughter and pure joy it brings to my life.
Most days I can be found in jeans and a messy bun, with bags under my eyes that scream "my child wakes at the crack of dawn". But my godddddd I LOVE getting myself jazzed up for a wedding. For those couple of hours I don't have any snot on my shirt, no rocks in my pockets, and my hair is actually clean 😂 as much as your wedding is special to you, it is my absolute oasis.

I don't know what else to tell you about me that's relevant to being a celebrant. I guess it's all relevant? Because the product of my business is well.... me.
So I guess three quick fire facts are a great way to round this off.
1. I am learning reo Māori and get better everyday 🙌 my goal is to be somewhat "fluent" by the time my son goes to kura.
2. I'm a cat person. They're the superior pet and I shan't be told otherwise.
3. I love a psychological thriller or war time book. Anything that makes me extremely anxious or extremely sad- sold.

I think this is the part where I encourage you to get in touch and book in a meet and greet to see if I'm the right fit for your day. A coffee, a vino or even a zoom chat! We can make it happen.

Shout out to who took incredible branding photos for me and made me feel like Erin again, not just māmā.

2024/2025 season is filling up heccccckin quick!!!!!!

If you want a celebrant who's here for a good time (and a long time, I am taking bookings for 2026!), then look no further.
I always find it hard to sell myself as this business is based around me being... well me? My aim is to make every couple feel relaxed and excited, not just during their ceremony but also in the lead up. I'm always here for a chat, for recommendations, advice and sometimes to just be a sounding board for ideas!

I love this gig. Every wedding is an honour, whether it's an elopement with two witnesses, or a ceremony with 150 guests. They are all so special to me, I will never get tired of doing this! Every single time I get a booking, I get butterflies of excitement. That's how much I love this, it's more than mahi 💕💕

Anyway, that's me. If you are still after a celebrant, get in touch and we can make some magic happen!

Ngā mihi xx

What was originally meant to be a low key elopement with a few people to witness, quickly snowballed into quite the shindig with all of their fave people!! Soon they will be shifting overseas, so it made complete sense to have everyone there to celebrate all that they have achieved, all that lies ahead, and all the love in between 💕

After weeks of pearler weather, the weather gods unleashed and gave us some good, solid torrential rain 🫣
But we love a good pivot, and this lil ceremony ended up in a rustic shed that had been decorated with so much love. Both bride and groom were in their trusty redbands, and everyone around them were so excited to witness such a special moment.

A quick break in the rain resulted in some STUNNING golden hour photos courtesy of my lovely friend Cleryse from Pīwari Portraits (, sorry guys she has finished up now 😭😭). Obsessed is an understatement.

Congrats double Zs! Thanks for a gooooody 💕💕
