Congratulations to Nelson Suburbs Football Club for proceeding to the next round of the Chatham Cup and Kate Sheppard Cup competitions.

Nelson Suburbs women took on Waimak United on Saturday taking a 5-0 win.

The men also had a tidy 4-0 win over FC Nelson.

Head down to Saxtons field today to catch Nelson Suburbs Football Club take on Waimak United in the Kate Sheppard cup. KO 1130am.

Then taking to the pitch at 230pm FC Nelson challenge Suburbs in the Chatham Cup.

There are only 13 active referees across the region, and without more support, games will start to be affected. Nelson Youth Futsal League – Enter Now!

We’re excited to launch a Youth Futsal League in Nelson for U15 and U17 mixed teams. Futsal is a proven way to enhance football development, improving first touch, quick decision-making, and creativity in tight spaces.

This league is a great opportunity to put those skills into action in a fast-paced, fun environment — with the added potential to build towards the NZF Youth Futsal Championships in Christchurch this December.

Dates: Sunday 2nd August – Sunday 6th September (6 weeks)
Time: 10.00am, 10:45am & 11:30am
Venue: Saxton Stadium, Nelson
Cost: $300.00 per team
