The hidden treasure of Mapua. Located at the historic Mapua Wharf, Golden Bear Brewing is a great place to chill out with friends, savour craft brewed beers and enjoy fresh Mexican food. Golden Bear Brewing is the creation of Jim and Anne Matranga. Born in Los Angeles, CA, Jim enjoys access to the fantastic hops grown right here in Tasman and produces a range of beers to showcase them.

Final show for the season at Golden Bear Brewing

Winter has finally showed up 🥶 It is chilly out there. The bears will go into hibernation starting 29 June. Join us one last weekend before we closedown for the season. Inside show, no entry fee. Booking tables recommended. Limited menu as we are finisiing off our food inventory. Sorry in advance if we have run out of your favourites.
