Woodside recognises National Volunteer Week coming up in June. When you book a volunteer recognition reservation between 22-26 June, we are offering a $10 voucher for every volunteer at the table.

It could be your committee meeting, management team lunch, or a well-deserved meal out for their hard work - bring your volunteers together and let’s celebrate them at Woodside.

Simply forward your booking confirmation email, along with details of the volunteers and why you are acknowledging them, to [email protected] to be eligible for vouchers.

Our Volunteer for the month of May, is Rita Hockey.

For eleven years, Rita has been a treasured part of the Garden to Table programme at Dawson Primary School, generously sharing her passion and knowledge of gardening, composting, and plant care. Alongside her whānau, she also donates gumboots to keep little feet clean and dry on gardening days. Harvesting potatoes is “like digging for gold!” according to the kids!

Rita’s kindness, dedication, and lasting impact on the Dawson Primary School community is priceless.

Thank you Rita for your longstanding support, and we look forward to hosting you at Woodside.
