CHEF WANTED – Ōtoromiro Hotel, Governors Bay

We are seeking a reliable and experienced chef to join our small kitchen team at the historic Ōtoromiro Hotel in Governors Bay, just 20 minutes from central Christchurch.

This is initially a temporary replacement role through the quieter winter period, with the possibility of a longer-term full-time position for the right applicant.

The role would suit someone who:
• Has solid experience producing consistent classic pub fare
• Has a broad understanding of MPI food safety and compliance requirements
• Is prepared to work weekends and busy service periods
• Works well within a small, close-knit hospitality team
• Has their own reliable transport

The Ōtoromiro Hotel is a destination hospitality venue overlooking Lyttelton Harbour, known for classic hospitality, stunning harbour views and a strong local following.
