Highflo is working it's absolute hardest to ensure we don't add complication to what is a massively stretched global supply chain. But it's not easy when procurement has morphed into a wild beast!

Previously 12 - 16 weeks was a more than adequate lead-time to source and ship materials from overseas.

Right now, our procurement order from June 2021, is only scheduled to arrive in New Zealand in January 2022! That's around a 30 week - 7 month procurement window and it's still only a projected arrival!

Currently, we've been able to insulate our customers from these delays through holding good buffer stocks here in our warehouse, and micro-managing our production to ensure we turn our raw material into the right fittings!

How can our customers help us?
Forecast, Forecast, Forecast and keep us in the loop regarding those big jobs on the horizon.

I think we've got a good enough handle on our supply chain to let you know whether what you need is achievable . . . . and we certainly won't feed you any BS or over-promise and leave you in the lurch thinking it's all sorted!

Some challenging times ahead for sure.

When your base material has doubled in price of late, you need to make every effort to use it wisely!

The image below is of the remaining straight tube off-cuts from 100mm Copper Tube after working down 5000mm of material into tube fittings.

We've let our resellers know that our pricebook will be re-issued from 1st June 2021. The (Copper) commodity price has skyrocketed over the last 12 months and we just can't sustain current price points any longer . . . .
