Just a shout out to our Sous chef Jirayu Deaw Ayuwat a.k.a Deaw. Another busy service tonight at Louie’s has finished with us sadly having to say farewell. Deaw has been with us for 4 years fresh out of S.I.T. You couldn’t ask for a better work mate to be honest. Has always gone above & beyond what is asked, a natural leader, honest, loyal cheeky as ever and always there when it counts. Mate…..thank you so much for all your hard work! The laughs, the banter has been second to none. All the best 🙏

To all our loyal & valued friends of Louie’s. We find ourselves in a position many other restaurants in NZ & abroad are facing, where we have to embrace the challenges of these crazy times & adapt in order to move forward. As of Wednesday 20th of April there will be a few slight changes from our usual menu format for the time being. Louie’s kitchen is taking applications for a full time CDP position starting in May. Would suit confident level 5 students looking to enter into the industry & further the skills with a passionate head chef. We change our menu with the seasons & we offer the opportunity to learn a variety of cooking techniques, flavour combinations, efficient organisation in a non pretentious supportive environment.
