Happy Wednesday team!

We have a sports week on.

Saturday night The Warriors are live at 6.05pm.

Sunday is a double header:
9am The All Blacks are live on our big screen. $30pp which includes a buffet breakfast and tea and coffee - as well as getting the team here early 😂. The bar will be open. A ticket must be purchased for entry thanks guys. Talk to the team at the bar.

2.05pm Sunday we have The Magpies live.

Here’s hoping for some more warm weather in our future!

And get those vocal chords warmed up, Karaoke Saturday the 19th 🎶

Father’s Day tomorrow and these guys got a head start on it! Treat your dad, shout him a meal and a beer at Marion’s!

What a gorgeous day!!!

Little bit of a lost property post guys, this hoodie was left behind on Sunday, is it yours?

Pie of the week is back and this week we have Chicken & Leek - served w Hash Fries and Relish, $26.

And, we have another goodbye 😢 Soph (and George!) are heading back to England next week, so today and Friday will be your last chance to see her before she heads off - unless you’re dining at Clearview over the weekend of course!When Tim asked if we’d like to share staff over winter we jumped at the chance, and far out we have been so lucky to have Soph as part of our team ❤️

Maxi’s Rice w Chicken & Chorizo (Vege option available) will be hitting the menu from this evening, $30 and it is so so tasty.

We have just locked in another Karaoke night with Paul on the 19th, put it in your diaries, not to be missed.

What a night we had last night!!! Far out the talent as always was incredible. Huge thanks to Campbell Burns for bringing his epic new band (Pocket) to Marion’s ❤️❤️❤️

And today, Maxi is teaching Aves how to be an Argentinian Grandmother - soon to be the best Empanada maker in town!

There are glimpses of sun out there, enjoy.

How good is Friday night looking this week. Campbell and his new band, Pocket, will be live from 7pm and we can’t wait!

Also a huge weekend for NPC rugby, kicking off with the Magpies playing tonight at 7.10pm V Southland.

We will have all the NPC games on over the weekend and then Sunday at 4pm we have the Warriors live to round out the week!!!

We have the fire on, but Spring is here next week right, so it will be warm again??? And Friday night live music means dancing, and that always warms everyone up!

What better way to kick off Pool Comp Sunday, Maxi has got the fire going! This man loves to BBQ 🔥

We will have Argentinian Beef Sammies on the go today - focaccia bread, iceberg, Chipotle Mayo 🤤 served with fries, $27.

Full lunch menu operating as well.

Get your name in before 1pm to play in the pool comp in support of Maia! $5 to enter and teams will be drawn out of a hat. Heaps of cool prizes to be won. This is going to be loads of fun!

At the risk of sounding stupid … turns out this is what our lemon tree really is … In good news, I’m going to make marmalade!

Our Magpies are playing tonight at 7.10pm and we will of course have the game on!

Great turnout for our friend Destiny last night ❤️

And today the sun is out!!!

This week we have new menu items from Maxi - Empanadas, Beef or Vegetarian and … Pulled Pork Nachos - how good!

Sunday is the pool comp in support of our girl Maia! Kicks off at 1pm, entry is $5pp, get your name in by 12:45pm and then partners will be drawn out of the hat. This is going to be so much fun and there will be prizes! Everyone welcome.

And … Maxi is going to get the BBQ going for some epic BBQ Beef Sammies for a special.

From day one Dest was the boss of this little pub we bought. And I think (hope!) that she ended up respecting and even liking us at least a bit 😂❤️

Getting a smile and a hug from this tiny but mighty woman meant the absolute world. You knew you’d earned it. And she’d tell you if you didn’t.

Her kids are the best, and I know this community will have their back.

The team at Marion’s is sad today, the world has lost someone pretty bloody special.

If you have a bit spare, we will have a Koha Box for Destiny on the bar, this will be for her kids.

Hug your people today, they might really need it.
