PUB FOOD. BUT ASIAN!
Sort of? Sometimes it’s not even really pub food. But we serve it at a cosy and appropriately dimly lit bar on mismatched Crown Lynn as cheaply as we can afford to which is in keeping with the spirit of a pub imo.
I mostly rehash and remix old Asian Diner recipes while does the real work and develops all the new s**t, culminating in a monthly-ish pop up we’ve called because, ofc we have.
1. Crushed cucumbers with green sweet chilli and pomelo gomashio; white fish crudo with Chinese sausage, fried curry leaf, fresh pomelo, and plum wine reduction; coconut braised beef cheek with spring onion salsa, tom yum oil, and congee; sake baba with lychee and almond cream.
2. Asam chicken parm - karaage marinated breast crumbed and fried with melted mozzarella and a spicy lemongrass tomato sauce.
3. Baked brie with szechuan pickled cucumbers and AD milk bun dinner rolls.
