🍽️ **SUNDAY ROAST IS BACK!**

Nothing beats a proper Sunday roast, especially when someone else is doing the cooking and the dishes! 🙌

Join us on **Sunday 13 September from 12pm** for our Sunday Roast

Choose your roast:
• Free-range chicken with onion and sage stuffing, and bread sauce
• Roast Hereford prime striploin with sautéed onions and horseradish cream

All roasts are served with crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and rich gravy.

Choose your dessert:
• Sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream
• Tim Tam dream cheesecake with mixed berry compote and Hokey Pokey ice cream

⚠️ **PRE-ORDERS ONLY**
These need to be ordered **at the bar before 10th September**, so make sure you get yours ordered before Thursday. You won't be able to simply turn up on the day and order one.

Come hungry, bring good company, and we'll take care of the Sunday feed!

🎱 Head along to the Hamilton Cosmopolitan Club on Tuesday night for the Waikato VNEA B Grade Social League.

This tournament is aimed at beginner to intermediate players who want to have fun and improve their game and skills against players of similar levels.

Advanced and 'A' grade players and those who have won this event two times previously are not eligible to play in this tournament. They are able to play in the Thursday night Open 'A' Grade tournaments.

✅ Open to players who have not won this tournament twice before.
✅ New Players welcome.
✅ VNEA 8-Ball rules.
✅ 7pm start.
✅ Every Tuesday.
✅ $10 entry - pay on the night.
✅ Field automatically seeded from rankings.

🇳🇿🎱 Juniors get ready!

Our VNEA Juniors leagues start again on Sunday September 6 at noon. Leagues will be played at Massé Glen Eden, Massé Pukekohe, and at the Hamilton Cosmopolitan Club. Play will run until around 4pm, and there is no entry fee!

The VNEA junior leagues are suitable for players of all levels. Players are placed in teams of 3 based on skill levels and experience, so newer players can be guided by our more experienced juniors.

There is no age requirement except players must be aged under 21 years of age on December 31, 2026. Players must be Gold Junior members of Massé/Hamilton Cosmopolitan Club ($10 per year).

League statistics, along with behaviour around the Club and participation, are used to select the NZ junior team that will compete in the 37th Annual VNEA Junior World Championships in Sioux City, Nebraska in July 2027. Flights, accommodation, uniforms, and entry fees will be sponsored by Massé!

🎱 We're excited to welcome a group of students and parents from Sacred Heart to the club this evening for a chance to try pool!

We already have three New Zealand junior representatives from Sacred Heart training at the club, and there’s been plenty of interest from their fellow students in taking up the sport.

With our tables now set up and free after-school junior coaching available every Friday, we’re excited to introduce the next generation to the club!

Our afterschool program is a fun, relaxed and low-pressure environment for juniors to give pool a go. If you know a junior who might be interested, let them know, or bring them along!

🫧🪣 The front of the club is getting a long overdue clean this morning! It may take a little time for the chemicals to break everything down, but over the coming weeks, and with a bit of rain helping the process, we should see a notable difference. We'll then gradually work our way around the rest of the building and remove the various layers that have built up over the years.

🎱 📢 Calling all junior pool sharks! Free after school cue sports weekly coaching starts at the Hamilton Cosmopolitan Club tomorrow, Friday August 14 at 3.30pm!

During the school term, free after school coaching for juniors will be run every Friday from 3:30pm until 6:30pm. Our junior coaching is suitable for juniors of all skill levels and is great for children wanting to give the game ago.

Juniors are free to arrive and leave when they want, and can train at their own pace. The only requirement is that they are junior Gold members of the Club ($10 per year).
