🎶 CURIOUS ABOUT THE ELVIS EXPERIENCE?

There’ll be plenty of rock ’n’ roll happening around the club, so soak up a bit of the atmosphere while you’re here! Just remember, a ticket is required if you want to attend and watch the Elvis Down Under entertainment over the weekend.

🎤 **ELVIS DOWN UNDER IS HERE THIS WEEKEND!** 🎸

**THIS FRIDAY 23 TO SUNDAY 25 OCTOBER | LABOUR WEEKEND**

We've got a BIG weekend ahead at the Cossie!

This weekend, we're hosting **Elvis Down Under**, a three-day celebration of the King of Rock 'n' Roll!

Originally held in Wellington, the event has made its way to Hamilton under new management, and we're expecting around **150 to 200 Elvis fans** to join us for a weekend of international tribute artists, competitions, live entertainment and plenty of rock 'n' roll!

**🎶 WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND?**

🎙️ **Friday 23 October:** Doors open at 6pm, with the opening ceremony, first contest heat and evening entertainment.

🎙️ **Saturday 24 October:** Doors open at 12pm, with more competitions, performances and entertainment running through to 11pm.

🎙️ **Sunday 25 October:** Doors open at 11am for the finals, winners announced and final performances, wrapping up at 3pm.

Check out the programme below for the full rundown!

**🎟️ WANT TO COME ALONG?**

Tickets are available directly through **Kim, the event organiser**.

📞 021 764 666
✉️ [email protected]

Get in touch with Kim to organise your tickets and join us for a fantastic weekend!

**🍔 SPECIAL WEEKEND MENU**

Our Social Bar Kitchen will be serving a special Elvis Down Under menu throughout the weekend, with plenty of tasty options to keep everyone fuelled!

Check out the menu below.

**🏠 A NOTE FOR OUR MEMBERS**

The club will still be open to members wanting to use our regular facilities, including the pool tables and gaming machines.

However, as this is a ticketed event, anyone attending to watch the Elvis entertainment will need an event ticket.

**Elvis not your thing?** No worries! If you're just keen to enjoy a few games of pool or spend some time at the club without the event happening around you, remember you can also head down to our **Massé branch on Rostrevor Street**, where you can enjoy the facilities as usual.

**🙋 MEMBERS, WE NEED YOUR HELP!**

Events like this are a great opportunity to showcase our club, and we'd love some of our own members to help make the weekend a success!

We're looking for a few friendly faces to help:
- Welcome visitors and answer questions.
- Keep an eye out for anything needing attention and let staff know.
- Help keep shared spaces tidy and clear rubbish.
- Check supplies and lend a hand with the little things that keep everything running smoothly.

Nothing too complicated, just members supporting their club and helping us give our visitors a fantastic Cossie welcome!

**As a thank you, members who volunteer will receive complimentary entry to the event!**

We'd love some help across **Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday**. Even a few hours would be appreciated!

**Interested? Message our page** and let us know which days and times you're available.

We're looking forward to a fantastic weekend and the chance to show our visitors what the Cossie is all about!

**See you THIS WEEKEND at the Cossie!** 🎶

🎰🍀 Our gaming room move is now almost complete with the room painted and the machines moved. We’re just waiting on a partition to be installed that will block the entrance closest to the main club entrance.

Next step is deciding what to do with the old gaming room. A smaller sports bar to watch the game or racing when multiple events are on maybe?
