Yesterday we had the distinct pleasure of hosting La Famiglia Branca in Federico Malavenda courtesy of federal. for a guided masterclass in all things Fernet Branca and the wider Branca brand.
Good booze is a universal language - none more ubiquitous among bar-folk than Fernet, and you can be sure that we speak it fluently around these parts.

Last night's Cocktail Club attendees were treated to a one-off cameo - the Surprise Negroni.

Why's it a surprise? Only Matias Fitzwater really knows. Maybe to do with the magic involved in turning the bright pink of Sarti Rosa Aperitivo and Campari into a crystal clear, silky smooth finished article via milk clarification - backed with the aromatic punch of Bulldog Gin.
