I can't say a single thing bad about this hotel. This will be my longest and best memory of New Zealand. This hotel is not like the many other typical touristy places. Lots of interesting real local kiwi's to meet. There is a wonderful waterfall and beach walk as well. This was my favorite hostel in New Zealand so far. Very unique. Kate Banks West Midland England

The pub was the best place we stayed in while in NZ. We found the locals so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was clean and private and the staff were very helpful. An absolute must see!
