It is with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news. This morning, a fire caused significant damage to our beloved building and restaurant.

We are utterly devastated by this unforeseen event, and our hearts go out to our incredible staff, who are understandably heartbroken.

We want to extend our sincerest gratitude to the tireless and brave firefighters who worked tirelessly to get the fire under control and extinguish it. Their dedication prevented even greater loss.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of love, kind words, and support we have already received. Your messages mean the world to us during this challenging time.

For now, Carnegies will be closed until further notice. We will keep you updated as we have more information over time.

Happy long weekend! 🎉 It's always a fantastic vibe in town with the annual Irishman Creek Rally! We absolutely love watching all the magnificent old cars roll in.

Just a heads up for tonight, we are fully booked and unfortunately won't be able to take any takeaway orders this evening. We're really sorry for any inconvenience this causes!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cook Assistant and Front of House to join our supportive team at Carnegies Restaurant in Fairlie.

Flexibility is key due to nights and weekends being included. Cook Assistant - Approximately 30 hours per week, maybe more over summer.
Front of House - Casual, hours will vary

In these roles you will:
* Assist the Chef to prepare wood fired pizza
* Assisting in the preparation and presentation of food
* Work closely with, and support your colleagues
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
* Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
* Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies

* Greet customers and seat them
* Take orders and
* Prepare drinks and serve meals
* Maintain a clean and organized dining area
* Handling Cash and Eftpos transactions
* Work closely with, and support your colleagues
* Duty Managers Certificate is a bonus but not required
