Gladfield Malt is 100% family owned maltings located at Doug and Gabi Michael's farm at the Canterbury plains producing the best pure malt from only the best quality barley and wheat. Gladfield Malt have over 18 types of malts all made right here in New Zealand.

Thanks for hosting us last Saturday and for putting on the most amazing hop harvest event! From a million dollar cruise through lake Wakatipu, a well informed and passionate farm tour with Owen and taking the fresh hops back to onboard of the Kingston Flyer was just fantastic! Thanks for hosting the Michael family at your event 👍👍🙌🙌

21 years ago we set out to do something a bit different then just farming! We are so proud of what we have achieved and thanks to everyone that believed and still believing in us!! I guess Gladfield can buy its own drinks now 😜🙌

This week has been a special one for Gladfield Malt family! We had Fred joining his sister Bel to the Gladfield team! Fred will be working with dad and the team at production and on the farm, not sure if mum will see him around the office though😝 We love you Fred and your enthusiasm for life is contagious, keep it up 🙌

Today is a huge day for Gladfield Malt family, our oldest child Isabel has started her career with us! She will be mainly in the office working with mum but that didn’t stop her being with dad early this morning checking the malts💪🥰 we love you Bel and welcome to Gladfield family (officially)
