Tonight, we’ve got the event for you! We’re pleased as punch to be hosting FLIPPER FEST! 🐧🎸

Organised by the awesome crew at Otago University Performing Arts Club to raise awareness and funds for Te Tautiaki Hoiho Yellow-eyed Penguin Trust.

Kicking off at 730pm koha entry - its a fundraiser so break open that piggy bank!

Hoiho are a taoka species facing a rapid decline in Aotearoa, with fewer than 115 breeding pairs left on the mainland. Extinction within the next 10 years is the current prediction. Bleak stuff. 💔

So, come on down, show the hoiho some love, dig deep in those pockets and chuck a donation in the koha box! Grab some raffle tickets while you’re at it - all profits are going towards the cause!

A massive shout-out to Emerson's Brewery for jumping on board and supplying a keg of Pilsner, with bar profits also going towards hoiho conservation. As they say, it’s a cause close to their heart. Shot, Emerson’s! 🍻💛

So rally your mates, come along tonight, support these awesome uni students and help make a difference for our fluffy yellow-eyed feathered friends.

But hey, there’s a sweeet gig tonight, are you coming?

The Something Quartet have gained a new band member and regained an old band member so it’s time to celebrate.

The Something Quartet seldomly consists of exactly four people but invariably delivers curious stories dissolved in a goodie-bag of genres, flavoured with today’s special ingredients of Samdrub Dawa on drums, Prudence Jopson on vocals, Benjamin Sargeant on textures, Ayumu Kobayashi on guitar and Bugs on bass.

Bride Cake. What can I tell you, they’re great. Come see.
