A Celebration of Craft Cocktails, Craft Beers & Local Wines Penny Black has breathed life back into the old Post and Telegraph office.

It is situated in the quaint historic precinct of Old Cromwell Town, on the banks of the Kawarau River. Penny Black offers signature cocktails, local craft beer, and wines, with delicious tapas-style food to enjoy All of us who work at Penny Black, love being part of this amazing space. Remembering years gone by, we kept to the Victorian era, honoring the first adhesive postage stamp, with a bend towards the Industrial Revolution, linking us to the new Dunstan Cycle Trail. You can find us at the start of the Dunstan Cycle Trail, or for a short stroll through the Old Precinct. All are welcome... cyclists, ladies in frocks, men in top and tails, families wanting to gather. Please note that we do not take bookings.

However, thanks to the “couple” who left, no tossed their picnic remains on the pathway.. (I can only imagine because I asked them if they could move, as the seats were for our customers.. )
The birds might have thanked you if your ignorant intentions were to leave them food … ( most people know bread is terrible for birds and ducks)

I am pushing for our Halloween Party but also a reminder of how important it is to support these events, as they are for you…
Many of you are away I know…
If you are thinking about coming… PLEASE COME GET YOUR TICKET/S

I have lived in Cromwell long enough to know, people leave things till the last..
However, this makes it hard to plan, especially incurring costs to make an event happening..
Also, in this case the DJ and Caterer has set the dates aside.. so it is a ripple effect..
Anyhoo, I know I’m hammering on but the end result will be having to cancel..(booohooo) or people clambering to get tickets and then missing out if you run to get your tickets…

So please please…if you’re thinking of coming.. come get your tickets… you’ll be so glad you did.. and so will I 🙌
