Brown Bombers had a great day at the Racecourse Hotel & Motor Lodge with our end of month karaoke. Brilliant turnout with lots of old original members turning up (Pete) being the one that stood out. Then another Peter from Westport rocked up and got his top which he proudly wore all day. Afterwards an intrepid group journeyed to 291 Addington road to play more pool and enjoy The Party Singers Band ChCh playing 80's music. Fantastic day overall. 4 club jackets were ordered today by members ,so get your orders in Brown Bombers for these smart looking jackets.

Head on down to the Racecourse Hotel & Motor Lodge Saturday the 30th May for karaoke. Special guest singers Dean@ Waratini ,Koko and Sir Bob. Get amongst it and sing your favorite tunes. Lovely day with kindred souls. Friendly games which came down to the wire, with Hokitika Railway Hotel winning by 1 frame. They put on a fantastic supper and were great hosts. Hokitika Railway Hotel is looking at coming over the hill and playing us in a return match in November at the Racecourse Hotel & Motor Lodge. First stop the Bealey to stretch the legs, then on to Hokitika. Kath was put in charge of Clyde our mascot and took him to sunset over the Hokitika beach, glow worm caves etc. Wally who was given charge of our other mascot Bonnie abandoned her and went to the working men's club. Wally you have a lot to do to emulate Kaths care of our mascot. Dythaniel was given the Bombers beret for the day and passes it on today to another unsuspecting bomber. Update is Wally feels bad neglecting Bonnie and took her to the beach and breakfast afterwards.

Brown Bombers President Craig Stewart is pleased to accept 20 sponsored jackets from Impakt Apparel & Sports Equipment on behalf of the pool team, as evidenced by the handshake with Brendan Laney. Additionally, L&A Apparel & Monograms has generously sponsored the team's playing polos. Team captain Charlene Stewart and selected players will showcase the new jackets for the Hokitika Railway Hotel pool challenge. The Brown Bombers extends gratitude to Brendan for his continued support. These jackets will be available for purchase to the remaining pool section, numbering 14 players. Furthermore, Brown Bombers members can also purchase jackets with the club logo, excluding the pool team design.
