Seven brand-new puzzles. Two hours. And they're yours to keep.

Your $87.50 entry to the World Mechanical Puzzle Competition includes a set of 7 original mechanical puzzles created for this year's competition.

You'll tackle them alongside competitors around the world on 28 November, then take the entire set home afterwards to solve again, share with friends or add to your collection.

You don't need to be a puzzle expert either. The competition is open to all skill levels.

If you’ve got a 12+ year old at home who enjoys games, puzzles, strategy, or just needs something new to do after school, send this their way!

New Brighton Library is running FREE After School Board Games every Tuesday during term time, giving teens a relaxed place to meet people, play some great games and spend a couple of hours doing something decidedly non-scroll-based.

Another fantastic playtest of Aotearoa: Contact and Tiriti today!

With more players joining us this time, we were able to open up the entire New Zealand map, which brought a whole new scale to the game.

One of the highlights was the wonderful mix of ages and backgrounds around the table. It was especially inspiring to hear how many players had taken the time beforehand to look back at the history of the period and came ready to really engage with the setting and the decisions they were being asked to make.

Arc came away with some excellent feedback too. Plenty of useful lessons to take into the next session.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their Saturday to play, contribute ideas, challenge the game and help Arc as he continues shaping Aotearoa: Contact and Tiriti ❤️
