Christchurch Sunday Board Games is on again this Sunday!

We're back from 1:30pm at Meepleopolis (Climate Action Campus, 180 Avonside Drive) for a relaxed afternoon of board games, good company, and plenty of fun.

Bring a game, join a game, or let us know in advance if there's something from the Meepleopolis library you'd like us to bring along.

Everyone is welcome and it's completely free to attend.

The vines may be quieter through winter… but the mystery is still unsolved at French Peak Vineyard and Accommodation. The prized grape harvest has vanished and Kumara the cat is proving to be an extremely unreliable witness.

“Who Stole the Grapes?” is a family-friendly puzzle adventure where you’ll explore a certified organic vineyard, solve five unique puzzles, and uncover clues hidden amongst the vines overlooking Akaroa Harbour.

The shelves are looking healthy again!

After a whirlwind few weeks, we've finally been able to restock a huge number of popular titles and add a stack of new arrivals to the Meepleopolis online store.

New additions include Bloodstones, Darwin's Journey, Dirt & Dust, fresh Earthborne Rangers content, new Lost Ruins of Arnak expansions, and plenty more.

There's still more stock arriving over the next week or so, but now is a great time to jump online and see what's new.

Looking back through these photos has reminded us just how much fun Chickenstock 2026 was. From impressive birds and passionate competitors to curious visitors and plenty of smiles, it was a fantastic day that brought together our community in support of the Climate Action Campus Sensory Playground project.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, competed, sponsored a chicken, or helped make the day possible. We'd also like to acknowledge our event partners, The Crafted Coffee Company and the Climate Action Campus, without whom Chickenstock would never of happened.

A great mix of games hitting the table tonight at Crafted Meeples, including The Old King’s Crown… and at this stage my chances of survival are looking questionable 👑⚔️

If you’d like to join us, Crafted Meeples runs every fortnight from 6-9pm at Crafted Coffee, 121 Blenheim Road. It’s a relaxed, welcoming board game night with a mix of strategy, laughs, coffee, and great people.

New players are always welcome. Just turn up, grab a seat, and join a game.

Crafted Meeples is on tonight from 6–9pm at The Crafted Coffee Company (121 Blenheim Road). Whether you're a seasoned board gamer or just curious to try something new, we'd love to have you join us.

We've built up a fantastic community of regulars who are always happy to welcome new faces, and there's a huge library of games to choose from.

Free to attend. Just support Crafted Coffee with a drink or bite to eat while you're there.

What a weekend! Tabletop Tūranga 2026 has wrapped up, and we just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make it such a fantastic event.

Thanks to the incredible volunteers, supporters, customers, and the wider Tabletop Tūranga team, we were able to raise several thousand dollars for the Cancer Society through retail sales and raffle ticket sales over the weekend. Your support will make a real difference.

It was wonderful catching up with so many familiar faces, meeting new gamers, and seeing the board gaming community come together once again. Every year this event seems to grow bigger and better, and this year was no exception.
